Information you provide

We collect your name, email address, phone number if supplied, selected notification channels and auction interests. We record confirmation and consent dates, your selected preferences and delivery status. A phone number is not needed for email alerts. Choosing text alerts requires a phone number and separate text-message consent.

How we use it

We use these records to confirm your signup, notify you when the selected auctions open, honor your preferences and opt-outs, answer support requests and prevent misuse. We do not sell your auction-alert information or use it for unrelated advertising.

Service providers

Our hosting provider processes email delivery and stores the website’s records. Brevo and its messaging providers process the phone number, message content and delivery information needed to deliver text alerts and honor STOP requests. Staff may access the records to operate the alert service. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Choices and retention

Email links expire after 48 hours. Unconfirmed requests are removed after expiry and a short cleanup period. You can unsubscribe from all auction alerts using the link in an auction email, or contact us for help. Text recipients can reply STOP to cancel texts and HELP for help. An email unsubscribe removes your active contact details and interests from this website. Limited suppression and consent records may be retained to honor opt-outs and meet applicable requirements; service-provider logs and protected backups may persist for their retention periods.

Protection

Contact details are encrypted in the website database and access to subscriber administration is limited to authorized administrators. Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee that any system is completely secure. The alert service does not require unrelated browsing or advertising tracking.
